Thomas The Tank Engine was made in 1984 at Shepperton
Studios and was the first ever series to have talking trains that interacted with humans, The Fat Controller (Sir Topham Hatt)
Runs and Owns Sodor Railway which sees many visitors coming and going all over the island. The first Season was Mainly based
in the Station Yards and Engine Sheds, Knapford Station is where Thomas was based at first then as the years went on More
and More Engines arrived and began working Express Passenger, Freight and Specials day and night on the railway everyday of
the year.
As The Years went by More and More Engines came
and Went on Sodor and the Island is now full of Engines From Different Railway Liveries all around the UK, The Series now
has all sorts of engine with different wheel arrangements and some have big coal tenders and bunkers.
All Colours of engiens were chosen by the Model Crew and most of them came ready
with Decals and numbers, but the sodor Engines had their numbers painted on by Professional Model makers and Liners.
